Would it be possible to translate some of the video highlights into English?
I consider all these amateurish and inciteful videos as narishkeit.
HaShem runs the world. We need to individually improve our relationship with the Almighty, which is an internal spiritual quest on our part alone.
Bli neder, I am about to watch the video for the first time. But let me guess what the main gist is. There will be a three month war this summer (Tamuz, Av, and Elul) which will start at the "edge of the world" timezone-wise. That would be in the Koreas which will fulfull the verse "The L-rd will have a sacrifice in Botzrah, and a Great slaughter in the Land(s) of Edom." (because of North Korea's alliance with Persia, this would be a cinch to achieve)

But I do tend to agree with Neshama. Hashem is in charge... no one els.. The rest of us human kind have to do our utmost to look into our selves and try to become the best we can as Hashem wanted.

special message to our generation. The Rebbe stresses that all Jews all over the world will enjoy “Goodness and Benevolence” in a revealed fashion. The Rebbe states clearly: There will not be another Holocaust.
[same man that predicted atthe beginning of the 6day war,gulf war etc what will the outcomes be and he was always right so their friends I trust the Rebbe and not some pseudo scholar who pretends to know it all, sorry]

I'm confused.
If you're attempting to attack me, I will be the first to admit that I am not a scholar, a pseudo-scholar, a quasi-scholar, or any type of scholar of any kind. Not only don't I pretend to know it all, I don't even pretend to pretend to know it all.
I'm not even sure why you'd be attacking me anyways since I'm just the messenger.
Perhaps, you meant to attack the rabbi in the video. In which case, you should probably ask Mehila from him. (If your attack is mistakenly against me, I was Mohel you already.)
Re: the Lubavitcher Rebbe's ZT"L's prediction, that very well may be true, but there are others who disagree. You are entitled to believe the Lubavitcher Rebbe, but what you are not entitled to do is consider his opinion binding on others as if no other acceptable opinion exists.
The background music is so overwhenlming,that it definitely minimizes teh effectiveness of the video, and is quite irritating. It also makes the video look childish. Finally, it makes sod1820 look like an unprofessional organization, speaking via dramatics, as if they have no substance.
Very soft background music (or none at all) would make it more professional and worth listening too.
I've seen alot of amazing material from sod1820. Unfortunately, it looks like they consistently product very childish, unprofessional videos, potenially pushing people away, and destroying the actual content of the videos. They might do better if they leave the management and production to another organization.
David: I actually liked the video a bit better than you did, but someone should tell the scholars at Sod1820 that it would help their believability if when showing a video of a lecture being given in a shul that the front row of three seats actually should have people in them paying rapt attention to what is being said! Those three seats in the video are empty, and my wife made the comment that it looks like he is lecturing before an empty shul. Ya'ak if you know the group that did this video, suggest that they refilm the shul sequences again with people in the seats.
I don't know the Sod1820 people at all or anyone involved in the video.

Yaak, I meant not you and not the ppl in the video but someone else who commented here. Some people like that scholar believe they are for SURE in possession of the truth about the future, and dismiss the opinion of tzadikim. Many times their predictions havent come true. The Rebbe was a real prophet ? Is there anything [what?] he predicted that didn't happen as he told us. What ?
They made a mistake in the movie at min 33:07 namely the gematria of the s"m [samech=60 + mem 40+alef 1+lamed 30] = 131, not 130 !!
